► Objectifs
Today’s multinational corporations need well-trained and seasoned HRM officers capable of operating in complex and evolving environments. CIFFOP’s Master in International Human Resources Management aims to provide students with the essentials to succeed in the field :
- A solid foundation in HRM skills in areas including: global staffing, training and development, compensation and benefits, mobility, management and leadership skills development, organizational design, employee relations and diversity management
- The ability to design and implement HRM policies and practices at corporate/country/site/SBU levels
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity as well as intercultural management skills
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in Corporate Social Responsibility through a dedicated module and transversal classes
- The tools and skills to become the global HR leaders of tomorrow and to contribute to the transformation of organizations
- Practical experience in a multinational company, start-up or NGO

Apprenticeship is open to all candidates, French and international, who are under 30 years of age.
Candidates may apply for the M1 program and study for 2 years or directly for the M2 program and study for 1 year.
Eligibility requirements:
For the Master 1 :
- 3- or 4-year Bachelor's degree (equivalent to 180 ECTS credits) in any field
- Fluent French (C1 level minimum) and English
- TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC or Cambridge Certificate accepted
For the Master 2 :
- 4- or 5- year Bachelor's degree (equivalent to 240 ECTS credits) or a Bachelor plus 1 year of Masters-level studies
- Fluent English (some knowledge of French is a plus)
TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC or Cambridge Certificate accepted
Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree who have professional experience (generally between 1 and 3 years) can be considered for entry to the Master 2 (consult the program manager)
In addition, the following criteria are important in considering the candidate’s background :
- A high level of motivation for a career in HRM, some knowledge of the field
- International exposure : professional and/or academic experience in an international setting, experiences outside of the home country
- A demonstrated passion for operating in an international environment
Candidates will be selected to interview based on the application file. An in-person or remote interview will be set up with a member of the program faculty and an HR professional. The interview will be conducted in English.

- Une première sélection sur dossier
- Entretien (physique ou à distance) avec un jury constitué d’un directeur du programme et d’un membre de l’équipe pédagogique (universitaire ou professionnel). L’entretien se déroule en anglais.

Our student body is diverse. We consider candidates from all academic backgrounds who can demonstrate their interest for the HR field through past experiences, a well-defined career plan, a good knowledge of the sector.
The majority of students have degrees in business, management, economics, law or psychology, but some come from French and other foreign languages bacgrounds, sciences, hospitality management to name just a few.
► Organisation des études
Rythme de l’alternance
First year (Master 1):
The academic year starts at the end of September.
- From September to December, students spend 2,5 days a week in the company (Monday to Wednesday morning included) and 2,5 days at University (Wednesday afternoon to Friday).
- January : mid-term exams
- From February – May, students are in company 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesay) and in University 2 days per week (Thursday, Friday).
From the end of the classes/exams until mid- September and during University breaks, students work full time in their company.
Second year (Master 2):
The academic year starts mid-September and the year is organized as follows:
- from September to late October: full-time classes;
- from November to the beginning of July: 3 weeks in the company & 1 week of classes;
- from July to September: full-time in the apprenticeship company.

Individual Dissertation (10 ECTS)
Students are required to turn in a final thesis, whose theme is linked to the professional missions assigned in the company. The thesis will analyze an issue or a problem in the HR field and will include a critical overview of the issue and personal recommendations to address it.
An oral defense of the thesis, before a jury, will be organized at the end of the academic year..

Informations complémentaires
The Master in International Human Resources Management is an apprenticeship (work/study) program. Students are employed by a company in an HR function for the duration of their studies and gain valuable professional experience while studying for their Master’s degree.
The IHRM was accredited by the EFMD in 2017 after a rigorous review process. The EFMD, the European Foundation for Management Development, is an accreditation body globally renowned for quality and impact assessment in management. EFMD accreditation is awarded to outstanding management programs with an international perspective.
